Poblano Relleno review
Since I eat from Poblanos every time they come to town, I have decided to broaden my horizons and try things other than the tacos.
This week, I tried the Poblano Relleno. So, this is a poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and deep fried. Yes, it was amazing at that description makes it sound. It’s not overly spicy like you might expect from a pepper. It just has a really nice pepper flavor with very mild heat. I always love their rice and beans and this time was no exception. Alisa was very enthusiastic about her loaded steak nachos and gave them two thumbs up as usual.
Aside from the good food, just a few interactions while ordering will let you know that Oscar and family are good people. So, when you see this truck, come support some good people who serve amazing food.
Beer note: I tried the new Rauchbier, smoked lager, at Tarboro Brewing Company. This beer is amazing. Franklin is showing some different things he can do with beers and that is exciting. If you get the chance to try it, do.
